I also believe that teachers can exploit their students in order to keep their position or power and thus to oppress newly rising powerholders, as shown in Paul’s case. Furthermore, as shown in Tracy’s case, teachers can deliberately ignore students and their abilities, presupposing that they can never be harmonious with others. Those teachers are more dangerous in that they can ruin students’ whole life due to the teachers’ prejudice. Surprisingly, they hate some students without any special reasons. There must be some reasons - too personal or completely selfish. Isn’t that symbolic violence?
