On the day President No was released from his unlocked domicile, he was so puffed up with the overruling of impeachment. He even compared his unworthy comeback to the resurrection of the Christ. It was the most absurd analogy he has ever forced. But it is not surprising, looking back his ridiculous speeches.

I remember his speech that he hoped to be a president like Lincoln, who was a poor, uneducated lawyer but the most loved American President. (I certainly believe that his greatness is a fake. I don’t trust it in two reasons - (1) he was a politician and (2) he was an American. Aren’t they enough?) I don’t know what aspects of Lincoln he respects. Anyway I have failed to find anything of Lincoln’s fabricated virtues from No’s behaviors. His words and deeds are exactly same as those of Bush, an obvious punk. He should have remained poor and uneducated.

I expected him to make unfair Korean-American relations straight when I supported him. However he is getting much worse than I expected. He is a trained, expert liar. He may want us to believe his moronic bullshits. But at this time he knows that my compatriots would not believe his sophistry. That is why he had not shown up on mass media for a week after last week’s address on the nation, and just acting like the emperor in new clothes in Andersen’s fairy tales. He might decide to be a dumb leader rather than to be a first President impeached twice. Please be a man. Don’t act like Bush, Mr. President!

In his last week’s address, President said, “We cannot allow anything to be won through terrorism.” How? He already sent two non-armored units for peace, which are construction and engineering units and medical aid units. But they have not contributed to peace in Iraq at all. Then what he really wants to say is to send the armored units to fight and revenge. McGannon says that leadership is action, not position. But President No’s dogmatic actions are rambling, not knowing where to go. He just takes much pains to stick to hold the foremost position. His new Prime Minister may teach him how to survive people’s distrust because he already learned all about the secrets after his failed education policy.

The United States of America has been enjoying impairing the legacy of other cultures using various ways. It seems that they overcome their historical inferiority complex through the imperialistic cultural invasions. However the history of ephemeral nation has been smeared with endless invasion and brutal massacre which have been deceived and beautified by their own hands. Look at the American invasion to Arab. It shows that they are nothing more than gangster (You [CENSORED], how dare you can call yourself police! You don’t change your inborn vulgar nature, do you?). Homer’s epic, “The Illiad” was also trampled down by Petersen’s Troy as Native Americans have been in their motherland. Even though you have never read it or have no interest in Greek Mythology, you will easily recognize it in the moment you see naked Pitt in the first 10 minutes of this cheap flick.

Petersen’s Troy focuses on three machos’ fights for their lovers; Pitt as a hunky stud, Bana as a father figure, and Bloom as an absolute cutie boy. Achilles, Hector, and Paris do not exist in his flick. He just took various masculine images from the great poem of Homer to seduce thoughtless girls, who can drool over their heroes’ semi-nudities and willingly weep at their deaths. He cajoles stupid girls into wasting their money. The director thoroughly ignores the role of woman in the society, who completely depends on a man and his love, He confines female characters and viewers in his Cinderella fantasies. In case of Briseis, her character is too weak and unconvincing to understand her. She was the priestess who swore God to her virginity. But how could she so easily lose her chastity to a revengeful playboy? What the [CENSORED] does he know about the Homer’s epic! Girls! You are so pathetic! I weep for your tears and indiscreet consciousness. Shame on you. You should show your anger to [CENSORED] Petersen!

You may say that history is his story, not her story. However he also failed to make Troy into his story because of its illogical storylines and irreversible miscatings. Pitt is the Achilles heel in Petersen’s Troy (Tyler Durden absolutely fails to sell soap in Ancient Greece) when he is taken close-ups, jumps around and reads his lines. I remember when Pitt suddenly said to his girl, “You gave me peace in a lifetime of war!” This one line tells all about Petersen’s faults in Troy. She did not give him any peace except that they made love together. PLEASE READ AN EPIC OF HOMER. Petersen’s Troy is American challenge and invasion to Troy like Bush does.

Impractical is Lincoln’s idea, the government of the people, by the people, and for the people. His dream may come true if people are limited to only politicians. However politicians have continuously deceived people to hold fast to their ideology and finally to accumulate their personal profit. I firmly believe that they are the last people who don’t tell a lie! That is the first reason out of thousands I hate politicians and I do not support any of them. It is the most disgusting moment when I heard that he ordered to fire at terrorists to protect his people from the upcoming terror! It had been safe at least here before his killing spree. I am totally against the Bush’s evil War on Iraq. Why do we have to be complicitous in his crime?

President No and his posse should immediately withdraw their plan to dispatch more troops to Iraq. All soldiers also should be brought back home. It is their war, not ours. Bush is lunatic enough to jump around to plunder Iraq of their spirit as well as their oil in order to establish Pax Americana in the Middle East. Even though he insists that he has never ordered it, too many innocent Iraqi civilians have been injured, tortured and murdered by the stupid white man. His criminal acts of genocide and ethnocide must not be inexcusable and unforgettable in the history, which he doesn’t know and doesn’t care about (What the [CENSORED] is he? A [CENSORED] moron? How could he be elected as a President?). Mr. President, listen to people! We must not be dragged into the unjustifiable war.

60 Minutes: How does the president [Bush] think history will judge him for going to war in Iraq?

In the address to the nation of June 23rd, President No said, “Harming innocent civilians cannot be tolerated for any reason. … We cannot allow anything to be won through terrorism. Terrorism must not achieve its goal.” Mr. President, you know that tremendous innocent Iraqi civilians are murdered by your greedy war criminal and his groupies. We know what is going on. How dare you try to wheedle people into winning over their support? Please send your son and daughter first to Iraq before sending our youths, if you truly, madly and deeply intend to help reconstruct Iraq! We are not your scapegoat. Finally I want to ask him, “What did you do to protect Korean from what you call terror attack and what will you do before saying the safety of our people is more important than anything else?” Don’t hide behind the Stars and the Stripes! That’s not the place where you belong to.

People do not hesitate to choose to watch “The Day After Tomorrow,” when they cannot decide what to see. They naturally know the summer blockbuster with big-budget does not disappoint their expectations. But its original intention must not be ignored because you can be unconsciously brainwashed by their maliciously designed conspiracy. Without a single word my friend bought tickets of it on the day “The Day After Tomorrow” opened. He said that it was a safe decision. But it was actually an uncomfortable decision.

You may be concerned about the environment after seeing this film. Then, is it the global warming that Emmerich wants to say to you? Please do not expect anything about the warning of Nature from this flick. Actually “The Day After Tomorrow” is the film about the epic of the white family; The U.S., the climatologist, his wife, and her son. He just disguised their heroism with the ice storm. He already abandoned the old-fashioned heroic episode, in which superman would save the world as in Armageddon or Deep Impact, when he chose the disaster for his next film. He might know very well that another Independence Day does not sell in the middle of the international condemnation of U.S. War on Iraq.

Anyway the most uncomfortable moment in “The Day After Tomorrow” is the racial prejudice. It goes without saying that black people play discriminatory roles in the movie. Why does a street beggar have to be an African American all the time while a White American plays a role of Mother Teresa? It was traumatic especially when I watched a Japanese woman’s willingly participation in Jack’s “Saving Private Sam.” It is very valuable to mean the family in Asia while many American families have experienced their moral and structural collapses, which I certainly witnessed in “The Ice Storm.” How cannot she be worried about her mother country, for all that the ice storm is attacking Asia? Damn it, Dude! Where’s Your Country?

I just hoped that it would show viewers America’s haughty bearings, their belief that even a natural calamity can be overcome by power of capital and military. He should have released E-bomb or CBU-64 upon the ice storm like they have done, not killing the President of United States of America, which will not affect the rejection of Kyoto Protocol. Emmerich may be trying to conciliate angry Africans, Asians, and Europeans, offering an unacceptable and ridiculous proposal. But you have gone too far, Mr. Emmerich. I can’t accept your proposal.

“Pay It Forward,” a traditional hollywood movie, did not disappoint my expectations, even though I was disappointed a lot while watching it. I always believe that there must be some big changes in it explicitly or implicitly when the novel is adapted for the silver screen of Hollywood, especially when starring Oscar winners. Mimi Leder, the direcor of the film, would try to avoid the traditioal Hollywood style by killing Travor, a hero. However, she rather created her movie more hollywood and her hero more heroic by gathering people, even murderers, holding candles to mourn in front of Travor’s at the end of the movie. I have nothing to say if you say that at least you are so impressed by this aimless tearjerker and feel like doing something. I just want to ask you, “What do you expect for people to do for a change after they have witnessed the death of an innocent boy, Huh?”

I suggest to forget about the movie itself. I mean its plot or the director’s original intention. (Did she have something to say?) I am pretty much sure that “Pay It Forward” does not suggest any hopeful view. But I, as a future teacher, dare propose that teachers try to do something to change themselves. They do not have to make the world a better place like Mr. Simonet’s project. Teachers already recognize what is wrong in the education, and many of them know what they have to do for a change whether it’s possible or not. But a few of them try and will, even though they are finally frustrated by the obstacles, an impregnable system which cannot be overthrown by the endeavor of a few. Nevertheless, I just hope that teachers prepare themselves for a change in the system. It does not have to be a national or sensational movement like that of “Pay It Forward.” I just want it to be the first step. Please do not be discouraged!

“Pay It Forward” deceives the innocent viewers by exploiting fake tears and fake gravity, planting the impractical dreams in their mind. They may think and believe that doing good things for others may reverberate through the world and finally make the world a better place. But that is totally wrong because I know that they are too weak to do anything after watching this ridiculous film. Please do not waste your time watching this film. Instead, you had better watch “Spider Man.” At least you can see Tobey Maquire and Kirsten Dunst flying around.
